Slots
Slot scores are computed, not assigned. Nobody sits down and decides a game feels like a seven. Each of the four dimensions ranks a game against a like-for-like population drawn from the 13188 slot catalogue we track, so a crash game is never compared against a video slot.

Why RTP consistency carries weight
Studios certify the same game at several different returns and the casino chooses which one to run. The headline RTP you see quoted elsewhere is usually the best file, not the one you are playing. A title that can be served ten points below its advertised return is, in practice, a different game — so we score that risk rather than ignoring it.
Missing data never counts against a game
If we cannot compute a dimension, we drop it and renormalise the remaining weights. Unknown is never treated as zero, because that would turn the score into a measure of how complete our record is rather than how good the game is. Every score states how many dimensions it used.
Worked example: Dr Zappo
Scored on 4 of 4 dimensions. Weights are shown after renormalisation, so the contributions add up to the total, give or take the rounding on the last decimal.

Casinos
Casinos are scored 0–10 on five criteria, multiplied by the weights below. Which casinos appear on the homepage and slot pages is a curated list; the score still decides the order inside it.

Licence and payouts carry the most weight. A large lobby does not compensate for a weak licence or slow withdrawals.
What we will not do
- Publish a score without the inputs that produced it.
- Give an unreviewed game a placeholder score. It shows no score at all.
- Let commission affect a score. Placement is commercial; the number is not.
- Change a weight quietly. These figures come from configuration and are rendered from it.
